BENJAMIN DHONG IN WOODSIDE

When it comes to rich color, texture, art, and sculpture, Benjamin Dhong is way up there in my book!  I receive many inquiries about his work and sources.

Benjamin designed this brilliantly beautiful family home for a couple in Woodside, California. The Louis XVI chairs covered in velvet and leather caused my heart to jump a beat, the mantle is spectacular, and that is just the beginning.  Enough said!  You be the judge, and let me hear from you. ENJOY!

Thank you so much, Ben, for sharing with us.  You know how much I adore your work!

BENJAMIN DHONG ~ SAN FRANCISCO STYLE

When the uber-talented interior designer Benjamin Dhong designs a room, he creates a space for good living.  Ben's use of art is stunning and is what first drew me to his work. The candelabra in the first image has me drooling, as does the guilted wallpaper. The title of the article in which this San Francisco row house is showcased is Sexy Dreamy Dramatic.  I think the title fits perfectly.

The client, a 40-year-old British investment banker, asked for a very modern interior, but Dhong knew that a person who chooses to drive an Aston Martin and wear bespoke suits may not be as modern as they think they are.  Working with the client, he created a contemporary yet chic interior using an eclectic mix. The textures, designs, and colors of the fabrics, rugs, and furnishings are diverse, and the wall colors meld it together perfectly. ENJOY!

Ben mentioned the music of Etta James in the article, and since she is one of my favorite artists,
I thought I would add a little "At Last" to this post.  James will be missed, but her music will always stand the test of time.

Thank you, Ben, for making certain that I didn't miss this spectacular home and your work.

BENJAMIN DHONG ~ INTERIOR DESIGN IN SAN FRANCISCO

Interior designer Benjamin Dhong uses a monochromatic palette and a wonderful collection of art in this comfortable and serene home in San Francisco.   Dhong covered the sofa in a fabric the same color as the wall allowing the sofa to almost disappear, leaving the room with a more spacious appearance.  The large bedside table in the bedroom is substantial enough for everything the owner needs to have close at hand.

I will admit that this home is a favorite of mine because of all of the stunning sculptures.  The large piece in the living room and the piece on the bedside table are exceptional.  ENJOY!

Please pray for those who lost loved ones in Alabama and surrounding states yesterday.
It was a horrible  2 days.  249 confirmed dead in Alabama, and the number is expected to grow.

See you soon,
Teresa
