Spring Into the Season

I believe that you can take any traditional attire and dress it up with accessories. I have always worn classic styles, so it is no surprise that I am in love with these four beautiful ensembles.
ENJOY!

Jacket, Devie Kroell; top, Ann Taylor; shorts, Vera Wang; cuff and band rings, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry; chain and ring, Aurelie Biderman; bangles, Cartier; chain and bracelet, Fallon.

Jacket, Helmut Lang; bustier, Thakoon; pants, Derek Lam; braided neclace, Banana Republic; tube and neclace, Stella McCartney; shoes, Nina Ricci.

Jacket, belt, shoes, pin and socks, Rochas; shorts, Moncler; hat, Tory Burch; rings, Van Cleef and Arpels; clutch, Gucci.

Jacket and bra, Akris; shorts, 3.1 Philip Lim; hat, Elie Taharie; neclace, Piazza Sempione; belt, Michael Kors; ring, Cartier; cluthch, Chloe.

All of these Spring fashions, along with much more, can be found in March Harper's Bazaar.

Fabulous Fashion ~ The New York Collections

Actress/Model Natasa Vojnovic with members of The American Ballet Theatre. February Issue Elle Magazine. Dress by Tommy Hilfiger

My favorite dress. Carolina Herrera.

Dress by Michael Kors.

Dress by Oscar de la Renta.

This beautiful tailored suit by Ralph Lauren. I love this suit.

I hope that you have enjoyed this selection from New York Collections. Great combination -- fashion and culture.

NOTE: You can buy your herbs now. I am going to purchase rosemary, basil, sage, thyme, dill, mint, oregano. I am going to grow lettuce, but not in the box I built. You will need a good potting soil (I use Miracle Gro.) Put gravel, if you will be using, and pour in soil and them plant the herbs. Water. Be sure you keep them moist, but not soaked.

Embracing Etiquette with Teresa continued... see introduction post (1-29-10.)

Five Introduction Goofs

Looking away. If you are looking around or talking while an introduction is being made, you are showing that you are not interested.

Making too-personal comments. Conversations about divorce, illnesses, job situations, death, etc. are not acceptable during an introduction.

Interrupting. When people are obviously involved in a conversation, do not interrupt them in order to talk or make introduction.

Deferring to one person at the expense of the other. Include all parties in a conversation after an introduction.

Gushing. Do not be too enthusiastic with introductions. It may make others uncomfortable. No match making here.

See you Monday,
Teresa

My Wish List for 2010

.

While I was relaxing in my marble bathtub, in my multi-million-dollar mansion, I thought of a few of the items that I wish for in 2010. Now I really don't have a marble bathtub, or a multi-million-dollar mansion, but I do have plans to make the wish list below a reality in 2010!

This beautiful cashmere jacket from Ralph Lauren has been on my list all season. One more price drop and it is mine!

No woman looks finished without a beautiful shade of Chanel lip colour choice.

This lovely quilt from Waterford will work beautifully with...

these Hotel Bed Linens from Williams-Sonoma Home.

Trapp candles are a must-have in my home!

This Breville Panini Press can be found at Williams-Sonoma.

Video on site.

Ok... I am saving the best until last. My very own coffee maker! This Breville Single-Serve Coffee Maker has been on my list for a while and can be found at Williams Sonoma.
Video on site.

Julia Childs and Beef Bourguignon is what I think of when I see this Le Creuset 5 1/2 Quart Dutch Oven from Williams-Sonoma.

Hickory Chair quality is the reason I have chosen this Devon sofa. The last sofa I purchased from Hickory Chair lasted over ten years, and is still holding up to the beach crowd.

I am excited about 2010, and I hope that you will enjoy my choice of posts! We are going to be busy!
