HONEYMOON IN HARLEM

Getting married mid-life has proven challenging as well of rewarding for interior designer Elaine Griffin and husband, Michael McGarry. The couple bought an 1890's Harlem brownstone which only has 1000 square feet.  Compromising, the couple mingled Asian and European styles. ENJOY!

Wow I am impressed...they did more with their 1000 sq feet then many people do with 10,000 sq. feet! I love love love their moss green walls..so fabulous one of my favorite colors for walls, so rich looking. And the blue in the bedroom is quite beautiful too. I am going to pick it up in hopes that they might mention some paint colors....great looking space. Love how all the books and the art gives it so much life. Well done.

surprisingly, the home doesn't look as dark as what it could with those dark painted walls...yet I like the colors, nice backdrop to the art and wall decor...
