Architect Richard Beard and interior designer Paul Wiseman created this view-rich home in Napa Valley. Much consideration was given to the surrounding area and residents during the planning phase.

Steven Stull and wife Claire, a former interior designer, were from New Orleans, but when they saw the view below in Napa Valley, they knew that they had found home. ENJOY!

Designer Todd Romano had wanted a Manhattan home since childhood. When Romano found a 600 square foot, one room apartment surrounded with windows, he happily took on the project of designing the beautiful, top-floor masterpiece overlooking Manhattan. ENJOY!

Architect Oscar Shamamian designed this lovely island home, and interior designer Victoria Hagan created the gracious and beautiful interior.

The family of six had visited Martha's Vineyard frequently and wanted a home that appeared to be older but with with modern features. Mission accomplished! ENJOY!

DESIGN IN WASHINGTON

When architects Hugh Newell Jacobsen and son Simon took on the task of renovating an 1815 historic Georgetown townhouse, they didn't expect to rebuild 85 percent of the dwelling.

Dr. Tina Alster and Paul Frazer own this history laden home in Washington. Clean lines and a pristine interior make a great home for the couples decorative and fine art collection.

The history behind this home is a must read.  ENJOY!

We are under a state of emergency and winter storm watch as I prepare this post at 7 PM Sunday, with everything closed, including the roads, so I will hopefully see you back here Tuesday!  Just in case, I have prepared several posts that will post each day.

JEREMIAH GOODMAN ~ ARTIST EXTRAODINAIRE

For 50 years, Jeremiah Goodman has been painting for a client list of who's who, and his watercolors of interiors are gracing the walls of collectors such as Carolina Herrera to Reed Krakoff.

Brought up during the depression, Goodman values a strong work ethic and paints each day. It is apparent in his work that this artist sinks his heart and soul into his work. ENJOY!
