Luminous Interiors by Brian J. McCarthy is one of the most stunning design books to be published.  Brian's use of antiques, art, and color are breathtaking, and his use of red and other vibrant colors with a serene backdrop creates some of the most spectacular rooms.

A former partner of the legendary design firm Parish-Hadley, award-winning designer Brian J. McCarthy graduated from New York City's Pratt Institute and has worked on projects around the world. In 2005, McCarthy designed the private quarters and refurbished the State Rooms in Winfield House, the official residence of the Ambassador to the Court of St. James.

Additionally, McCarthy has designed an array of stunning private residences, many for clients so high profile they wish to remain anonymous. McCarthy is a member of Elle Decor's A-List, and his work has been featured in many publications, including House BeautifulElle Decor, New York Magazine (100 Best), the New York Times, andVeranda, as well as in several books.

A must-have for you design library, this book would also be a lovely hostess or holiday gift.  ENJOY!

Such a lovely book. Love that black and white bedroom - although I might have a tough time sleeping with the zebra staring at me. Have a happy Monday, Teresa! XOXO
