THOMAS JAYNE ~ DESIGN IN PHILADELPHIA

Interior designer Thomas Jayne renovated and decorated this beautiful four-story, 11,000 square-foot townhouse. The Greek Revival home needed some work, and the client wanted rooms moved in order to make room for a garage.

This Philadelphia home is absolutely stunning with furnishings from the client’s former home and some of those from the former owner. The dining table was mauve and now dons a fresh coat of blue lacquer.

You owe it to yourself to read the entire story.  ENJOY!

Kathysue,
I have never been so excited about a modern piece of furniture as I am this table in the center of these other traditional pieces. I can't stop looking at it. I had to do this post so that I wouldn't lose it, lol.
What is it about it that I love? What color is this? LOVE! I could build this, I believe.
Am I actually commenting on my own post, haha?

I love this home and Jayne's bit of irreverance for the neoclassical. Putting the striped runner on that stair is just fabulous.
