If you want a home that could guide you through designing your home, this book, The Illinois Governor's Mansion, will help you make the way. I have never seen so many breathtaking rooms, pieces of furniture, textiles, rugs, art, chandeliers, silver, crystal, and the architecture is overwhelming.

There is so much history in these rooms, and the colors are so lovely. I could spend days looking at the paintings and history of the people that were in the mansion over many years.

No one love French cooking more than I do. When I received this book I was excited to say the least. Through techniques and recipes such as the use of knives, cooking methods, sauces and stuffings and soups, there are an abundance of dishes to cook. 

If you have a question as you go through, it will be answered in the book. I can't wait to get started on some of my favorite challenges.

This book is absolutely beautiful, with rich colors, stunning furnishing, and fabrics that take your breath away. I love red, so I felt at home covering this book.

John lives in his lovely home in Chelsea London, where he has become a very sought after designer.

I cannot share this entire book with you, but it is a must have for everyone that loves America and its history. The Diplomatic Reception Rooms at the U. S. Department of State houses an impressive collection filled with more than 5,000 pieces of stunning art, prints and drawings, furniture, porcelain, silver, rugs, vases, sculpture, documents and architecture, which rivals the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Winterthur.

If you are planning to move into a modern, timeless home, these architects and designers are are highly trained. The surroundings and interiors are breathtaking. 

I especially love the infinity pools and water surrounding many of these homes. You can also choose manicured lawns and beach greenery or snow covered ground in colder weather in the chosen areas.

I can’ remember a time in my life without the work of Vicente Wolf within reach. When I think of his work, not only do I think of every shade of lavender and lovely colors, but his breathtaking design, talents and creativity. 

I could write about Vicente’s exceptional spaces for days at a time, along with the choices of antiques, fabrics, and art. I can’t recommend this book enough.
