Well friends, the new issue is out, and it is a must see!  Our friends over at RUE have been busy putting together a gorgeous new issue.  I keep saying it can't get any better, but it continues to surprise and indulge us with beauty and fun!

ENJOY the few images that I have shown here, but you have got to go over and see what the buzz is about!

And I certainly can't leave out our friends, Brooke and husband Steve, at Giannetti Home!

GREAT JOB RUE!

ERIN MARTIN ~ DESIGN IN SANTA BARBARA

This dated Santa Barbara home was given a facelift by interior designer Erin Martin.  The main focus was to apply Venetian plaster to the walls and add the limestone fireplace. The look was finished with beautiful antiques.

You know that I am dying for those pillows!  ENJOY!

House Beautiful has certainly put out a beautiful magazine for the February issue. I hope that you enjoyed this post.

See you soon,

GIDEON MENDELSON ~ DESIGN IN NEW YORK

This beautiful home was designed by interior designer Gideon Mendelson for a couple who have recently become empty nesters. The couple wanted a beautiful, traditional home that represented their new lifestyle and a home that their children and grandchildren could enjoy visiting.  Mission accomplished in Purchase, New York.  ENJOY!

If you visit my blog, you know that I am obsessed with bookcases. When I saw these cases in House and Garden UK, I had to share. ENJOY!

Smaller images that I thought were gorgeous...

Some of these images are poor photo quality, but I hope that you can see enough to get ideas.

MARK GILLETTE IN MANCHESTER

After a career as an art therapist, interior designer Mark Gillette set up an international design business in the United Kingdom that spans from Cheshire to parts of Europe.  It has certainly paid off.

Gillette's Manchester flat, which is in the Burton Building, is an art-deco-designed home that resembles a period house. ENJOY!

I hope that you have enjoyed visiting this beautiful home.

I took my daughter back to school today after her visit during the Christmas holidays.  As with all of you, family is number one for me, and my children come before everything else, so you will have to excuse my lack of comments and presence for the last few weeks. I will soon be back full force!

See you soon,
Teresa

PUNITIONS (FRENCH SHORTBREAD COOKIE)

MAKES ABOUT 60 SMALL COOKIES

Ingredients
10 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour

In a bowl, use a hand mixer on medium speed to beat together butter and sugar until pale and fluffy, 2—3 minutes. Add egg and beat until smooth. Add flour and mix on low speed until just combined. Transfer dough to a work surface and form into a ball; halve ball and form each half into a flat disk. Wrap disks separately in plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, 1 hour.

Heat oven to 350º. Transfer one disk to a lightly floured work surface; using a rolling pin, roll out to 1/4″ thickness. Using a 1 1/2″ round or fluted cookie cutter, cut out rounds and transfer to parchment paper-lined baking sheets, spacing them 1″ apart; repeat with remaining dough disk. Bake, rotating baking sheets top to bottom and front to back halfway through cooking, until cookies are set but not browned, 8—10 minutes. Let cool before serving.
