LES MISERABLES

If you have not been to see Les Miserables, you are missing the best movie of the season.  Going in, I was afraid that the time would find me uncomfortable, but time flew.  The movie is just that good, an absolute masterpiece.  The acting, the music, and the set are amazing.  I would love to read what you thought!

I saw it and absolutely loved it! Only thing is I found the singing lacking technically, after all they are not singers but actors. However, they all more than made up for their singing shortcomings by flawlessly executing beautifully, emotionally charged renditions of the songs. Anne Hathaway's I Dreamed a Dream made me cry!

Happy New Year, Theresa!

Cannot wait!! I had two dates to see it with a good friend but since nurse Tina has been on call 24/7 for the last 8 days, both fell through. I am determined however to see it tomorrow or Thursday, have heard amazing things and simply cannot wait!

Cheers to a wonderful year ahead Teresa, may be bring you all good things:)

I haven't seen it yet but fully intend to. I loved the book when I read it over 20 years ago. Loved the stage production. Can only imagine how good the film is.

My daughter is a Les Mis fanatic and is constantly playing the 10th Anniversary concert on her iPod. We've seen it on stage several times, too. Because of our familiarity, our expectations were high. The movie was amazing, but if I'm honest I'd have to say that one of the actors was distracting for us with his lack of singing ability. That one issue does not keep me from recommending it, however. It's beautifully done.

It was beautifully done! All actors did a fine performance, some exceptional. I was amazed by Sasha Baron Cohen acting and singing ability. Yes I loved it! I have seen it many times on stage and in my opinion it adapted well into movie verison. I think this will allow more people to view and enjoy a beautiful story who may not afford to see a stage production. A must see!
