DAVID NETTO ~ DESIGN ON LONG ISLAND

Interior designer David Netto decorated this Long Island home, with the flair of a Scandinavian cabin, as a wedding gift for her friends.  A major renovation changed this house into a place that was warm and beautiful.

A ladder in a closet that leads to a widows walk, the extra large windows, and the Corian straircase wall and the kitchen island make this home, with a Swedish look, modern yet comfortable.  The modern art inside has been collected by the owners. ENJOY!

This is beautiful and so fitting for the kind of weather we are having, overcast, cool and a little rainy...a perfect day to stay in, and that is a beautiful home to get cozy in!!

Such a cozy space, Teresa! Would love to be sitting by that fireplace with a hot cup of tea!

I love the cozy factor as much as anyone...however...my dream has always been for a widow's walk!!! Why aren't we focusing on that? LOL! I wish there was an entire article on widow's walks! I think I may look for one! Thank you so much for sharing this! I sure do wish you had been with Angela the other night so I could've officially met the both of you! She is a doll!
Much love,
Carolyn
