Everything is so beautifully done. Hanging out in that living room would seriously take my blood pressure down a notch or two!
The first room is particularly beautiful - such subtle shades of pink and lemon in the gorgeous rug. A very calm room.http://missbbobochic.blogspot.co.uk/
Gorgeous! I love the black lacquered walls with the chartreuse art. And those beds!! The canopies are amazing. Thanks for the intro to her work!Stacy
I loved this home and the story behind it! I have loved Ruthie's style ever since I saw her on a long gone HGTV show called Area. She had redone her little brother's apartment and it was the first time I had seen dark walls, white curtains...and it seemed so brave and chic. She hasn't let up since!!!xoxo Elizabeth

I adore Ruthie Sommers! Another one with Southern roots, she grew up right here in Charlotte, NC! She is the epitome of style in my book! Love it! Have a great Thursday Teresa!
hi teresagreat post, have been waiting to see the outcome as my friend, patrick roullier, a fine decorative painter, did the walls and much more in the home than shown.cheersdebra

How beautiful and refreshing these spaces are. I always admire Ruthie Summers design.
Ruthie always knocks it out of the park!!! Beautiful.
I love all of the rooms Teresa!! I especially love the high gloss black lacquer walls, the reflection from the lights on the walls makes the space seem larger. Have a wonderful weekend!Christy
