CINDY BARGANIER ~ INTERIOR DESIGN

Interior designer Cindy Barganier needs no introduction in Alabama, but I wanted to share the work and accomplishments of this talented designer with my readers.  This well known, sought after designer has projects completed and underway throughout the South, and her work has been showcased in numerous publications.

Barganier graduated from Auburn University with a degree in interior design and continues to be involved as an advisor and lecturer.  She has also taught continuing education classes in design at Auburn University Montgomery.   Her list of accomplishments is far too extensive to present here, so please visit her website to see her entire portfolio.  Cindy also authors the lovely blog, Forever Design.

Now settled in the quaint town of Pike Road, with husband Jeff, Bargainer has created her own line of furnishings, fabrics, and rugs.  Below I have included images of not only the rooms that Cindy has previously designed, but an introduction to pieces she designed and manufactures.  ENJOY!

BOBBY MCALPINE ~ DESIGN IN WINE COUNTRY

Cofounders Don and Rela Gleason of Summer Hill furnishings called on architects Bobby McAlpine and John Sease of McAlpine Tankersley when they decided to build their home, Casa Kulanu, in the northern California town of Calistoga. The three pavilions include a main structure and two pavilions built using McAlpine's trademark stucco, wood, stone, and numerous windows.

The main structure includes the living room, dining room, sun room, kitchen, library, master bedroom suite, and a guest suite. One of the ancillary pavilions houses a garage with an office/studio with bath above and a media room and wine cellar below. The other ancillary is a garage with a two-bedroom suite for visitors above.

It is no secret that I admire the work of Montgomery's Bobby McAlpine. His attention to detail is impeccable, and every home he designs is a masterpiece. ENJOY!
