CAROLYN ROEHM ~ SEASONAL TABLETOP DESIGN

When Carolyn Roehm designs a table landscape, we are certain it will be a show-stopper.  The designer only uses candlelight in her dining rooms because she believes that the light given off by the candle adds beautiful reflection and ambiance to the room.

Roehm uses multiple height candles, ranging from short up to 40 inches tall and prefers off-white, bright-white, and black candles unless she can find colors that match the china or flowers perfectly. She prefers Root Candles and Colonial Candles and loves using pinecone-shaped candles in a rustic setting.  The designer favors scented candles and only uses Balsam scent during the Christmas holidays.  ENJOY!

CHAD EISNER ~ DESIGN IN BEVERLY HILLS

The owners of this Los Angeles home didn't want to move and leave all of their memories behind, so they called on talented designer Chad Eisner to renovate and design the interior. The result is a home that is the epitome of chic and luxury with a relaxed and comfortable feel.

Eisner used very large pieces sparingly throughout the home. The light fixture in the living room, the chandelier over the custom made dining table, with chairs found in Paris, and the silk-velvet fabrics are just a preview of what can be seen in this home. The eglomise panels in the dining room are stunning, and the large mirror in the sculptured garden is spectacular, bringing the outside in.  ENJOY!

HOUSE BEAUTIFUL DESIGNER VISIONS: CINEMA STYLE SHOWCASE HOME

The House Beautiful Designer Visions: Cinema Style showcase home was designed by interior designer Heather Moore for Jed Johnson Associates. The apartment was inspired by the movie, Factory Girl, based on the life of Edie Sedgwick. There was nothing dull about Sedgwick, and there is nothing dull about this home.

The Fifth Avenue apartment is decorated with midcentury furnishings, and the eclectic mix melds beautifully with the contemporary art, such as the Warhol shown here. Moore drew inspiration from the fabrics, and there is an edge to everything she created. ENJOY!
