The House Beautiful Designer Visions: Cinema Style showcase home was designed by interior designer Heather Moore for Jed Johnson Associates. The apartment was inspired by the movie, Factory Girl, based on the life of Edie Sedgwick. There was nothing dull about Sedgwick, and there is nothing dull about this home.
The Fifth Avenue apartment is decorated with midcentury furnishings, and the eclectic mix melds beautifully with the contemporary art, such as the Warhol shown here. Moore drew inspiration from the fabrics, and there is an edge to everything she created. ENJOY!

I bet those rusty/amber colored walls are so spectacular as the sun is setting, it must take on a beautiful glow. Very sophisticated....thanks Teresa, hope you enjoy your Sunday!
Another terrific House Beautiful issue!! Not sure I could live with this much saturated color but a very creative vision. Love the entry - a fabulous neutral interplay of texture and art.
I am loving that rich gorgeous dining room! Hope you have a nice Sunday, Teresa! xo
