These are really good!
Makes 2 cups
Ingredients
• Nonstick vegetable oil spray
• 2 cups walnut halves
• 3 tablespoons (packed) light brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
• 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
• 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• ingredient info:
Smoked paprika can be found at most supermarkets.
Preparation
• Preheat oven to 340°. Line a rimmed baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper. Coat with nonstick spray. Mix walnuts and remaining ingredients in a medium bowl. Spread out in an even layer on prepared sheet. Bake walnuts, rotating pan and stirring nuts every 5 minutes, until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Separate any nuts stuck together (they will be very sticky but will dry as they cool) and let cool completely.

My mom makes these with pecans, and they are downright addicting! I bet they are delicious with walnuts too.

I love making (and eating!) spiced nuts. I will have to try this one as I have some left over pecans from the holidays. This one looks promising because they are not sticky once they dry!
