SARA GILBANE ~ DESIGN IN TRIBECA

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL OF THE FATHERS OUT THERE!

***

When interior designer Sara Gilbane was asked to shake things up in this Tribeca apartment, a large blue velvet tufted sofa and salmon drapes had already been chosen and purchased by the clients.  Gilbana added trim to the draperies and added pieces to accent the sofa.

The rug brings everything together, and the metalic stripes in the dining room are perfect. So beautiful with light from the chandelier. ENJOY!

A great example of using bold colors well. Not to overpowering and still refined and sophisticated.

Rest!! Are you kidding? Yesterday I made 7 layers for a dobos torte, had them all wrapped in plastic on the counter to fill and frost today. I found them this morning covered with sugar ants!! I'm starting over........good grief!! Thanks for your comment this morning.......you are quick!! I appreciate it!
