It's Angela, again! It's looking like Makeup Mondays are becoming a "thing" here on Splendid Sass, and I couldn't be happier; it's one of my favorite topics.
So let's talk Mother's Day. Again. I know we talked about this last week, but let's get real—Mother's Day is less than TWO weeks away now. Which means that unlesss you're planning on hitting up the crowded malls for what's leftover, this is your opportune moment to shop for something special. Special doesn't have to mean expensive. I'm a firm believer that a beautiful card with a handwritten note (which you might spend a
little more than you normally would on—
letterpress, anyone?) and a bouquet of flowers can go a long way. It's the
sentiment that counts. We all know our mothers are the most wonderful, fabulous, and hard-working of all, so let's treat them as such.
Y'all know I'm all about Beautycounter at this point—how can you not be on board with SAFE and CHIC beauty products, especially after every covetable endorsement possible?! As a beauty product junkie, I will only choose the best—my mentor in the business is Reagan Howell who started Southern Proper, after all, so you KNOW the products are great if she's involved. Here are some of my absolute FAVORITES. These products make you feel like you've spent a day at the spa, and lemme tell ya, the price tag is a lot less. ;)
