I was so thrilled to spot my pagoda hand towel in the beautiful home of Katie White (on Instagram @thechinoiseriecollective) on the fabulous blog, Society Social.

To say that I am head-over-heels in love with this home is an understatement! The home, designed by Ann Holden, is beyond stunning.
I am only posting a few of the images. You will find the remaining rooms and the story behind the home in the March/April issue of Veranda Magazine. ENJOY!

Traditional Home Magazine has opened entries for the 2016 New Trad Rising Stars of Design Search! Through March 15th, readers will be able to nominate themselves or a designer they choose to become one of the New Trads to be announced in the July/August issue of the magazine, the TRADhomeMag. They will also be honored in New York for their hard work and success! I agree with Home Editor-in-Chief Anne Maine that this competition is a major introduction into the public design spotlight! Many have gone on to be highly sought after designers.
To enter, designers are asked to submit a photo of themselves along with 5-10 photos of projects that best illustrate their design style, and complete a short questionnaire. New this year, readers can nominate a designer they know simply by submitting their name and email. After the March 15th deadline, 50 semifinalists will be chose by Traditional Home for another round of voting.
After this vote, by visiting newtrads.traditionalhome.com, users may also vote for their favorite “Reader’s Choice” winner, which will be selected based on the number of votes accumulated before April 15, 2015. Readers can vote once a day for each designer they are supporting.
Not only have I nominated a talented designer in the past, I have several friends that are competing! I can't wait to follow along!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE AND ENJOY!

After spending years in the world of finance, I decided to follow my true passion—curating a life where southern elegance meets southern heritage. That led me to create Splendid Sass, a haven for gathering and sharing my love for design, art and cooking, and TG Hatfield Company, where I embroider fine heirloom linens that will garner hospitality for generations. From the exquisite linens that set the table, to the food that is shared with family & friends, to the warm & cozy room that invites guests, join me as I share the things that inspire me and help create a truly elegant life.
