AMY D. MORRIS ~ DESIGN IN ATLANTA

Atlanta interior designer Amy Morris created a cozy, large scaled Atlanta home for these empty nesters.  Morris loves to choose large sofas and rugs, and in this home she also hung drapes from molding to make the  rooms appear more open.

The couple had a large collection of accessories and Morris knew that these pieces had to be downsized. What resulted is a beautiful and elegant home with color and warmth.  ENJOY!

MEGAN RICE YEGAR ~ DESIGN IN SAN ANTONIO

When Megan Yegar and her family moved into a rental home in San Antonio's Monte Visto Historic district, she was certain she would only be in the home for a short period of time.  The family would look for a new home to buy once in Texas, but she also wanted to decorate the home as if they owned it to make it comfortable.  Megan accomplished this look by using what she already had and a pair of curtains.  ENJOY!

I am in love with this bedroom.

BOBBY MCALPINE ~ AT HOME IN MONTGOMERY

Bobby McAlpine is one of the most talented architects and designers in the United States and beyond.  There seems to be no end to what he gives to the city of Montgomery, Alabama.  He has placed his fingerprints on some of the most beautiful and treasured homes and landmarks in this beautiful city, which is McAlpine's home.  I feel fortunate to be able to visit examples of his work frequently.

The following images are of McAlpine's home in Montgomery.  ENJOY!

To see more of McALpine's work visit here.

Thank you for your kind words this week.  They meant so much to me.
