The late French interior designer Henri Samuel helped American financier John Gutfreund and wife Susan design their Parisian pied-a-terre. Architect Alain Ratnaud renovated the five floor townhouse, raising the ceilings and moving walls. ENJOY!

Wow, it's just gorgeous! I love their tree and the colors on the bannister.
Beautiful images. I'm trying to get inspired to go to the grocery store but this is just so much more fun. alas, I must go. Merry Christmas! Mona
That is some pied-a-terre!
Oh my goodness, I am dying! This house is so beautiful. I'm especially in love with those windows in the very first image. It's my dream to have a home with windows like that one day!
Happy Holidays.

Amazing. Wonderful early-morning eye candy!!! Thanks Teresa, have a merry day.
Oh - that Paris apartment is amazing. A bit more than a "foot on the ground"! The bedroom is the super deluxe version of a bedroom I'm currently designing for a 5 year old. Same style bed with draping, pink color palette. Oo la la!
I am so behind on my magazines. My new Veranda is still sitting on my coffee table unopened. I need more time in the day!!! The pied-a-tere is stunning as are the Christmas images. You never disappoint Teresa!
THAT is some pied-a-terre...I'd be happy with a studio apartment to rest my feet in Paris! By the way, my wrapping "station" is all over my dining room and we have company coming for dinner (hence, why I WISH I was more organized)!

Wow - quite the residence - so looking forward to getting my copy! And love your pretty Christmas shots - the chartreuse and turquoise combination is fabulous!
What a gorgeous Paris apartment...the living room - perfection. Your posts are always so inspiring!!
Incredibly elegant and beautiful! So many lovely touches throughout -- I cannot get over the staircase or the ornate beds -- incredible.
