DAVID EASTON ~ DESIGN IN ASPEN

Interior designer David Easton designed this beautiful Aspen vacation home for a long time client who owns several other properties Easton had worked on.  The owner, a philanthropist and art collector, has known Easton for over thirty years and trusts the work of the designer.  No arguments from me.

The 1980's home is filled with sunlight from the snow-ridden mountains.  Easton used a toned down interior to showcase the massive art collection of his client.  Easton added windows to bring the outside in, also opening up the main floor to accommodate guests.  ENJOY!

You know the few times each we get snow here I'm always fascinated at how it changes the light inside my home. Light transforms like nothing else!

I love that wooden bathtub. How much fun would it be to take a bath there?!?!

My godmother is famous for saying that she launched David's career many decades ago and he's done all of her homes... some of them are even featured in his books! Lovely man and wonderfully elegant!

I think there are many who don't realize how very versatile a designer he really is! Loved seeing this piece.

I love his work and this beautiful and peaceful home is no different. I want to take a bubble bath in that tub looking out at the snow! Can you imagine how peaceful that would be?
