These images are pieces of heaven, Teresa. I love the wintery scenes. We had our first fire in the fireplace Saturday night, then it was 75 yesterday. It's right around the corner though, and I wish I was in all of these pictures. Have a great week. xo Nancy Powellbrowerhome.com
Teresa, you've definitely created a cozy state of mind here! You should come visit me... 40ish degrees and rain, rain, rain! Definitely makes one want to snuggle up indoors! XO
The first image is part of the dining area of Hotel Particulier in Arles, France. They play vintage black and white movies against the wall over that fireplace. The ambiance is incredible. I had the pleasure of staying there and it is so beautiful. Madame who owns the boutique hotel has incredible style that is reflective in every corner of the property. {more information about the hotel on my blog}
Love, love everyone of these images.. its actually a bit warm up here today- 70's and I want hight 5o's low 60's so I can turn the fireplace on at night! Karplyn
OH MY GOODNESS...that first photo had me, but then the pumpkin coach and the breakfast in bed...my dear, that was a treat! Oh dear, wherever you are, it is reminiscent of my youth in California, where I can even remember 90 degree Christmases! But where I am now in the Midwest, we are enjoying the beauty of the fall colors, aromas and tastes.
Thank you my dear for coming to visit! I hope your weather changes just enough so you can indulge in a HOT SOUP or cup of tea/coffee and REALLY enjoy it...Anita
I know exactly how you feel Teresa! It's still hot as Hades in Houston. Just got back from High Point and loved the cool fall weather!! Wish it was NC weather in Houston. Beautiful images too!!
After spending years in the world of finance, I decided to follow my true passion—curating a life where southern elegance meets southern heritage. That led me to create Splendid Sass, a haven for gathering and sharing my love for design, art and cooking, and TG Hatfield Company, where I embroider fine heirloom linens that will garner hospitality for generations. From the exquisite linens that set the table, to the food that is shared with family & friends, to the warm & cozy room that invites guests, join me as I share the things that inspire me and help create a truly elegant life.
