Kay Douglass and husband Jim sold their Rosemary Beach home and bought a 1920s home on Lake Rabun which is only two hours from their home in Atlanta. I am in love with the bright colors and dyed skin rugs used in this vacation home. ENJOY!

I am so .. actually, I am beyond thrilled to have found your blog through Maureen at eclecticrevisted. I showed this post to my poor left brained engineering husband with the spatial skills I lack and said,
"See all this stuff and how you still have the feeling of space? We have a lot of stuff. I want it to feel spacious."
Wow..lots of unexpected coor. I like just about all of it except the screened dark green porch with the orange, not feeling the combination there. Other than that, I am liking the unexpected play on all the bright colors.....btw Teresa, your Seda France products are going out tomorrow...enjoy!
Ha! Great minds think alike! I posted about Kay's house on Lake Raburn also. Wasn't it just the best! I have always loved Kay's style....

I can't even tell you enough how much I love this home. The playfullness, & the colors. Lake Cabin'ish and yet not. Thanks for posting Teresa, I need to pay more attention to Kay Douglass!
