Last evening, to celebrate Assouline's greatly anticipated and lavish international flagship boutique and 20 years of Assouline, Martine and Prosper Assouline shared the evening with guests Mr. Valentino Garavani, Mr. Giancarlo Giammetti, Andre Balazs, Hugh Grant, Kylie Minogue, Anne Hathaway, Tamara Beckwith, Georgio Veroni, David Downton, Tim Jeffries, Mario Testino, Suzy Menkes, Carlos Souza, Duchess of Marlborough, Prince Constantine of Greece, Roland Mouret, Charles and Pandora Delevigne, and authors Nicholas Foulks, Vivienne Becker, Serdar Gulgun, and Jean-Pascal Hesse. Celebrated also was the launch of their newest publication, Valentino: At The Emperor's Table.
The party took place at the referbished 196A Piccadilly, London, a building designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1922. Sponsored by Krug champagne and "Patanegra" Jamon, guests were treated to the premier of the Aerial Oxygen Cocktail™. made with 99% oxygen and infused with a sophisticated blend of herbs, vitamins, and gemstone elixirs. Chico and The Gipsy Kings provided the evening's musical entertainment.
