If you have not seen the work of Alexa Hampton, you are in for a treat! The daughter of the late Mark Hampton, Alexa is now the owner of Mark Hampton Interiors. She is another designer that I would give free reign in my own home.
For two other posts on the beautiful work of Alexa visit here and here. ENJOY!
ALEXA'S WORK SPACE
Don't forget to pick up your copy of this fabulous book!
I love Alexa Hampton's work! I would be thrilled to give her free reign in my house!! My sister went to a luncheon where she spoke a couple of years ago. She said that she was the best speaker that the group had enjoyed for a very long time. Not only was she informative; she was also really fun!
Simply fabulous design. One of the very first design books that I bought years ago was her Father's Mark Hampton...Good taste is in her genes. XO, Mona
She is extremely talented and certainly inherited the "good taste" gene from her legend of a father. Love seeing all of her gorgeous rooms....so elegant!
I was a big fan of Alexa's before my daughter started working for her. Now, I am a raving fan. She is a truly generous, kind and funny person on top of all that talent. I always look forward to seeing her at Hickory Chair. Best, Liz
Well, the apple didn't fall too far from the tree in the Hampton family! These images are gorgeous, I'll have dreams about the first one! I remember a few years back Alexa was on This Old House and did this red dining room that was incredible! Thanks for sharing these images - let the pin-fest begin!
Hi Teresa! Alexa certainly inherited the design gene from her father but she is putting a very contemporaty and feminine "tweak" to it don't you think????? I tried to email you...... I for some reason couldn't get through so I replied to your comment on my blog.... Hic!Maryannexo
Hey Theresa! I think we have been following each other on Pinterest for a while or at least I have been following you! Glad to find your blog! Come visit me! Would love to have you follow me back! Have a great weekend!
Alexa is the daughter of the late interior designer Mark Hampton. I believe Mark may have worked with Sister Parrish and Albert Hadley. I loved Mark's work. He had a true talent and passion for creating beautiful environments. Shiree'
After spending years in the world of finance, I decided to follow my true passion—curating a life where southern elegance meets southern heritage. That led me to create Splendid Sass, a haven for gathering and sharing my love for design, art and cooking, and TG Hatfield Company, where I embroider fine heirloom linens that will garner hospitality for generations. From the exquisite linens that set the table, to the food that is shared with family & friends, to the warm & cozy room that invites guests, join me as I share the things that inspire me and help create a truly elegant life.
"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me". Erma Bombeck
