MICHAEL KOVAC AND TRIP HAENISCH ~ DESIGN IN MALIBU

When Courteney Cox purchased this home in Malibu, she hired architect Michael Kovac to renovate the home and interior designer Trip Haenisch to design the interior.  Cox wanted a more open and light-filled home with a lot of privacy, and that is exactly what she got.

The walls are painted white, the trim is bronzed-steel, the floors are hardwood, and there are glass walls.  The kitchen looks out onto the deck, the pool, and the sea.  The exterior of the home blends with the surrounding trees.  There is also a tennis court and a screen porch, with a smaller kitchen, and a window for the chef to serve the food.

Cox worked closely with the architect and designer, having a weekly meeting to discuss the issues.  Her perfectionist ways paid off!  ENJOY!

Just LOVE this issue of Elle Decor. While Cox's home is certainly stunning - it's a tad too stark for me and my not perfectly kempt ways!!
