STAN TOPOL ~ DESIGN IN NAPLES

I hope that all of you are having a wonderful week! Since my Little MacBook Pro went to the hospital, I have been using my iPad. I have learned a lot more about this little creature, but had only used it for applications and viewing beautiful images, and it just cannot compete with the MacBook. I am as slow as a snail typing here, and I am trying to get around to commenting on your posts. Hopefully my macbaby will be back soon. Until then, forgive the mess, lol!

When designer Stan Topol was asked to design  a home for his clients, he called in designer Reynolds Brown and architects Rob Herscoe and Michael Hajjar.  Topol's goal was to create a home that appeared to have been in this spot for a long period of time.

Topol desires a refined interior, one that is comfortable and casual. Using one or two grand pieces of furniture in each room, Topol believes that less is more and builds around the star pieces.

In this home Topol painted the interior with light colors that compliment the extensive collection of painting by famous artists, and also covered the dining room wall in leather.

This truly is a beautiful, comfortable villa.  ENJOY!
