TINO ZERVUDACHI ~ INTERIOR DESIGN

When a British businessman purchased the 400 year old Chateau de Fontenay, a landmark 70 miles from Paris, it was fully furnished. Not satisfied with the decor or its quality, the owner brought in Tino Zervudachi and his assistant Dennis Pyle.

To landscape the lawn and gardens, Zervudachi brought in landscape architect Jardin des Tuileries. The lawn is forty-five acres of lush greenery. ENJOY!

I have planned for posts through next week.  I will be so busy finishing up my class, but hope to visit your blogs.  See you soon, dear friends.

PENNY DRUE BAIRD ~ DESIGN ON PARK AVENUE

The beautiful Park Avenue apartment of Nina Bauer and husband Andrew Shapiro is stunning to say the least.  Interior designer Penny Drue Baird and architect David Ruff worked with the couple's art collection and created a masterpiece.

When Bauer and Shapiro purchased the home, many walls had been removed to give the home a loft-like feel.  Ruff put the walls back up to bring the apartment back to its original plan and created the perfect backdrop for the couple's collection.

Not only is the home spectacular, it was built with environment friendly features.  ENJOY!
