When a Manhattan philanthropist asked Peter Shelton and Lee F. Mindel to renovate an apartment while leaving the original bones, this is exactly what they did. The owner, with a little more traditional taste than the architects, took a leap of faith when hiring them. ENJOY!

ReplyDeleteGood morning, Teresa!
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing, my sweet friend?
I'm doing okay, but you know how we get at the end of pregnancy... everything hurts! :-) Matthew had his feet between my ribs yesterday and it was even painful to breathe! :-) But I'm still enjoying every day of this pregnancy and I can't believe he will be here in only 7 weeks. It's amazing!
This is a fantastic post, Teresa. I enjoyed every single picture here! Thank you for sharing this with us.
Wishing you a very blessed week, my dear friend!

I love the architectural details here. The ceiling in the first photo is my fave. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow love the architectural elements here, very powerful and they were smart to keep the furnishings neutral and not have them overpower the amazing spaces.....really beautiful and what a view!
