THE END OF CAMELOT ~ FIFTY YEARS AGO TODAY

Fifty years ago today.  I was eight years old, and I can remember every detail. I remember the sadness I felt.  I remember my mother crying and her special way of explaining things, and my father was obviously shaken.

My house was a house of conservatives, but that day the only thing that mattered was that our leader had been assassinated. It was sad for Americans.

I would love for you to share what you remember on that day fifty years ago, the end of Camelot.
