For those of you that follow my blog, you know that I love and admire the work of Miles Redd.  When I found out that he would be publishing a book, I was ecstatic to say the least!  I have posted may times on the work of Redd, and the links to those posts follow.

Below are just a few of the 150 dramatic and glamourous images in this 300 page book.  I spent the afternoon pouring over the work that only this design genius could create.  ENJOY!

  3. Teresa, I love Miles Redd! The fact that he has Southern roots might be why I resonate with him. I met him in May in NYC and he was a delight! A true Southern Gentleman in every way! Quite humorous as a matter of fact! I can't wait to get this book!

  7. This looks like an incredible book with lots of flourish! I was especially impressed by the fairly conventional, yet rich, living room with that stunning abstract art above the couch - wow! Hope you're doing well Teresa!

  8. Good Morning Ms. Splendid,

Wouldn't he be the most fun to go shopping with. Would like to learn to "see" with his designer eyes.

Always wondered how they shot that first image. Where did he jump from? Not from that fragile chair, I am sure.

    Hugs to you.

  9. Monica-
I was wondering the same thing, so funny! All I was thinking about were the splintered ankles I would have if I attempted this!
Hope all is well with you, sweet lady!

  16. I'm a huge Miles Redd fan, too, Teresa! I got my book last week while my mother was in town. It was quite interesting to turn pages and hear her thoughts. She's ultra traditional and conservative so that was actually entertaining for me.
