This is very, very true! Which is why we strive so hard to put everything beautiful into each of ours! These were great examples!! If it doesn't catch someone's eye then it's just a waste of money! They have to be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHi, Teresa - What a great idea for a post! I love ads (especially fashion and home decor), and always look forward to them in magazines, billboards, etc. So much goes into a beautiful and successful ad campaign: photography, merchandising, research, styling, the location, etc. I hope you make this a regular series on Splendid Sass. Take care ~

Great picks! I love the ads in magazine just as inspiring as the articles!
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever post! Ralph always does it right, doesn't he? Sometimes the ads are more inspiring than the copy!
What a cool way to find a new angle on design. :) I sometimes look at ads and think "do I really want that thing that they are selling, or the backdrop of the room with amazing architecture, or the view, or whatever??!!!" Hope your week is off to a great start Teresa!
ReplyDeleteLove using ads for inspiration Teresa! So glad you spotlighted this. Was fortunate to see some of these companies newest intros at Market and they didn't disappoint.

ReplyDeleteHey Teresa! I love this post. My walking buddy was telling me that her friend styled the one from Caracole and lives near market! How fun!
