JANE MOORE ~ A HOUSTON TOWNHOUSE

After a divorce, interior designer Jane Moore decided to clean house and keep only the pieces or furniture and accessories that she truly loved.  Using pastel and white slipcovered upholstery and rustic French and Swedish furnishings, Moore created a serene and lovely home for herself.  Moore's use of gilded pieces finishes off the elegant look.

I am in love with the kitchen, and agree with Moore's decision to use furniture pieces instead of cabinets.  The rustic pieces in the kitchen and dining room give the rooms the comfortable farmhouse look and feel she was looking for.  ENJOY!

  7. The colors are STUNNING. My favorite palette of all....looks like a soft layer of powder was blown all over the rooms, it has that dusty kind of effect, love it!!
