AXEL AND MAY VERVOORDT ~ DESIGN OF A BELGIAN ESTATE

Interior designer Axel Vervoordt needs no introduction to those of us in the design world. Working with wife May, Axel Vervoordt renovated and designed this Belgian Flemish castle for a couple prominent in the world of art.

The medieval spaces were renovated, and an orangerie was added. Vervoordt stayed true to the original design, using the couple’s extensive art collection and antiques as the backdrop.

The lush gardens were design by landscape architect Jacques Wirtz, who drew inspiration from the gardens of Italy and England. ENJOY!
