Interior designers Richard Bories and James Shearron renovated and created the interior of this 900 square feet apartment. The designers created a palette of soft gray, which appears seamless. The walls and closet doors were painted the same gray, and touch latches were used on closets to help blend into the wall perfectly.
Shearron and Bories painted the front door high-gloss yellow, painted the bedroom ceiling with a navy blue. The entry closet is also painted to appear as an Ellsworth Kelly painting.
The zigzag chairs are covered in Madeline Weinrib rugs, and screens were added on each side of the room. Bories and Shearron placed the large table in front of a window, and instead of tall bookcases, a low credenza was used for the television. The designers took out the large cabinets in the kitchen and built shelves.
