Antonello Radi admits that he is a maximalist. His 16th century Italian palazzo, in the Umbrian city of Foligno, is filled with beautiful antique art, pottery, rugs and furnishings. His collection is primarily from the sixteenth through eighteenth centuries, although he admits that he has a few modern pieces.
This is a second home for Radi, who comes from a wealthy and prominent family who deals in finance and politics. His primary home is in Spello, overlooking beautiful gardens. ENJOY!
This beautiful home can be found in the April issue of Elle Decor.
See you soon,
Teresa

Umbria is a beautiful area of Italy where I have been several times - although I have never been to Foligno. I haven't had a chance to look at my Elle Decor - but looks like a fabulous piece!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Have a good weekend, Teresa!! xo

I love all of the deep reds and rich colors! It's so easy to stick with neutrals, but this house definitely broke the mold and it is perfection!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend, Teresa :)

Gorgeous...the kind of rooms you really have to study and pick apart. Love that barrel vaulted kitchen and those orange walls..so luxurious! Really beautiful special place.
ReplyDeleteI saw Antonello Radi's home in the April Elle'Decor. I love all the shells and the antiques. I too decorate with things I collect from travels and finds at thrift shops.I believe also that objects have an "aura" like people, and give off that energy and can create an enchantment in a room and with the person who embraces them.
