FALL FITNESS UPDATE

If you read my blog, you know that I am in total bliss because fall is here.  While the weather isn't cool yet, I know that it is right around the corner!  Bring on the cold, because I am going to add walking to my fitness plan.


All is progressing at an ok rate, and I am glad to report that I am losing small amounts of weight and inches.  I took a week-long break, so I am catching up.  It was nice to rest my muscles and take a much needed break.  It has been 3 months now, and I have to pat myself on the back for hanging in there.  I also want to congratulate my friends for their accomplishments too!

While I was taking a break from working out, I took a break from my diet too, so I am really cracking the whip now.  No more playing around until Thanksgiving.

I found the greatest book that includes a lot of raw food ideas.  I give it an A+, so if you are looking to better your health and at the same time enjoy delicious food, this book is for you!

There are also healthy cooked recipes in the book.  Oh, and did I mention how pretty the food looks?  ENJOY!

I have found my new fall outfit, and I will have to work an extra job to pay for the jacket, but the pants are priced right, so maybe I can work it out since workout clothes are my new officewear :).

  3. Congrats on your progress. Love walking - I'm in Chicago for work and walked 1.3 miles to the office. It was a great way to start the day.

  6. I just started my diet yesterday, I must check that book out! Now I just have to start to learn how to love exercise, I must admit...don't love it!

  7. that book sounds perfect for me too. all the anti-cancer stuff i have been reading point to eliminating animal products and since i'm sensitive to gluten...thanks for sharing, lovely.

  9. Walking is just about the only form of exercise I really enjoy. Unfortunately it's not enough... I'd love to hear about the Pure Barre workouts. Do you like them and are you seeing any results?
