CHRISTMAS AT THE BILTMORE

I can't start my Christmas posts without sharing these images from the beautiful Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina.  It was one hundred and seventeen years ago on Christmas Eve that George Washington Vanderbilt invited family and friends to his home for a Christmas celebration.  Each year the home is decorated for guests to admire.  ENJOY!

    The Vanderbilts knew how to decorate for the holidays! We had a chance to see the mansion here in NY decked out in style and it's stunning. Thanks for getting us in the mood for decorating!

    I love Christmas at the Biltmore! My mom and I took Miller and Holly several years ago while we were at her house in Highlands and it was just spectacular! Everyone needs to experience it at least once!
