MARY MCDONALD ~ DESIGN PERFECTION

I don't think many would argue with me on the fact that Mary McDonald's work is colorful and stunning.  While I may not be in love with every single room McDonald designs, there is always something in each room that I love.

I am patiently awaiting the new season of Million Dollar Decorators to see what Mary and her colleagues have to share.  ENJOY!

    Hi Teresa, what a lovely post just filled with beauty. I love the closet or is it a fitting room? The idea of beautiful dresses hanging about makes me happy, even if they are a couple sizes too small !!

    I agree Teresa - I don't know that I could live in many of her rooms (although I still love that vignette with the shells and zebra ottoman) but her rooms are always packed full of style and great ideas!

    Totally agree with you - some of McDonald's work is over the top for me but I love most of it - it is so interesting and layered. And Teresa, belated condolences for the loss of Lady - so sorry to hear.

    mary is fabulous, and i'll never forget a TV interview with her years and years ago on kitty bartholomew's show. she was hilarious and still is. and girlfriend can decorate.

    I love her style and am completely obsessed with the room with the light blue and orange draperies and the shells on the console table...gorgeous yet fun. I always feel she has adds an element of playfulness in each space. Gorgeous images!!
