HOUSE BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN OF THE MONTH

This stunning kitchen is the August House Beautiful Kitchen of the Month.  Owner Summer Thornton designed this 105 square foot room.

The counter-to-ceiling cabinets were painted with black lacquer, and the countertops are Carrara marble.  The mirror adds so much light to this kitchen, and it showcases the china and other pieces on the open shelves.  The lamp and the faucet are perfect.

    I did a black kitchen for one of my clients years ago, It was one of the favorite remodels I ever did. Absolutely stunning in every way!! Kathysue

    I love the black lacquered cabinets...would never be brave enough to do it myself, but they are stunning, and of course the marble is gorgeous!!

    Adore the open shelving, white marble and faucet. Pairing the black cabinets with the white marble gives such a classic look.
