SARAH RICHARDSON ~ DESIGN ON GEORGIAN BAY

HGTV's Sarah Richardson designed this beautiful lake house on Canada's Georgian Bay.  Sarah's husband owned the rustic home as a bachelor, so the designer wasted no time in turning the place into a family friendly summer cottage.

Richardson painted the walls white, softened the colors in the kitchen, and added colors and fabrics that blended with the environment. This eco-friendly home had an open floor plan, so Sarah divided the home into rooms, tying them all together with color.  ENJOY!

    I love everything Sarah does, and this is no exception! Can you imagine the view over the water in the family room?

    I would have to say thats about as picture perfect as a coastal home gets! I would hire her blindfolded and know I would get something fabulous...she is so talented and I am in love with each of those rooms especially that kitchen and living room!

    what a fabulous summer retreat...so light and filled with gorgeous summer style fabrics..love the painted floors and the kitchen is so sweet painted in lovely aqua colors..

    We adore the kitchen... so light and airy with just a hit of color. The reclaimed wood on the island adds such character.
