STYLISH BLOGGER AWARD
Thank you, Luciane!  You make me smile each day!

Luciane from Homebunch was kind enough to pass this award on to me.

I have been blogging for a little over a year, and I have met so many wonderful people in this small period of time.  How often can you do something you love and make others happy at the same time?  This is my goal for this blog, and I don't intend on letting you down.

Luciane, I want to thank you, sweet friend, for passing this award on to me!

7 things about me:

1) I am the mother of a son and a daughter.
2) I was born and brought up in Montgomery, Alabama.
3) I am a former banker and stockbroker.
4) I have an undergraduate degree in molecular biology and a masters in law.
5) I am working on a masters in visual and liberal arts because I love the arts.
6) Most importantly to me, we are a Christian family.
7) I love design, art, cooking, needlework, and tennis.

And I would like to pass this award to these recently found friends:
Liz at Dovecote Decor
Sue at The Zhush
Pam at Red Ticking
Mary Ann at Classic Casual Home
 Deb at  Dumbwit Tellher
Maureen at Eclectic Revisited
Marianne at Style for Living

After receiving this award you have to pay it forward and follow the rules:

Rule
#1) Thank & link back to the person who awarded you.
#2) Share 7 things about yourself.
#3) Award 10 great bloggers that you have RECENTLY discovered
#4) Contact those bloggers and tell them about the award

Thank you again, Luciane!
Teresa
xoxo

  12. Teresa: Thank you for passing the mantle for The Stylish Blog award. I would love to know who started "the rules," but they are a wonderfully revealing romp into our crowd's lives. Molecular biology? Oh, we are an eclectic bunch, and I too was a stock broker. I love finance, but don't miss the business. After raising three girls, I took the advice I gave them, and followed my passion. The first two, are in NYC working in the design universe. We all entered the workforce at the same time and support each other. I entered the blog world, and followed my dream to set up a website of all the furniture and antiques I love in High Point. I could never have done this without my wonderful children and Viive and Benji. Life can be reinvented at the age of 55. I was completely inspired by the talented Jane Wendell, grandmother of Celerie Kemble. Jane launched a very successful interior design business after she raised her children and her husband retired.
    Best,
    Liz
