Interior designer Stephen Sills and architect Jason Chai designed a beautiful home for a couple and their two children in Connecticut. The furnishings in this home are French and Asian antiques, and the home was built with references to Moorish, Dutch, Islamic and Swedish architecture.
The family didn't want a formal dining room, and there were several places for books in the home. The wife wanted the home to be comfortable for her family instead of becoming a showplace. What resulted was a beautiful home with a lot of character. ENJOY!

To see more on this home and others, pick up the December 2010 issue of Architectural Digest! Some great posts to follow soon! I had fun in the bookstore in Birmingham!
See you soon,
