MILES REDD IN TEXAS

Well, I don't believe there is anything left for me to say about Miles Redd.  If you visit my blog, you know that I think that Miles is perfectly talented and surpassed by no one.  He is the man of color (I think he dreams in color), lacquer, creativity and design.  The only thing missing is a book, and I certainly hope there is one in the works!

When I received my Veranda today I had to pinch myself.  Was Miles Redd in two publications in one month? Friends, he was! To be honest, I have been waiting on this issue, and I am not disappointed. Ok, enough from me.

The owners of this Houston, Texas home had been admiring the work of Redd for some time before hiring him as the interior designer. Obviously they made a smart decision. The use of brown, and the painted concrete floors which resemble marble are just the tip of the iceberg.   This article is a must read! Maximize your screen for this one, friends. ENJOY!

It is a must that you get your copy of Veranda!  So much in this months issue.  To read and see more about Miles Redd, visit my previous posts here, here, here, here, and here.

See you soon,
Teresa

  1. Teresa, I am such a fan. Love his fearless use of color, particularly that Kelly Green. I have to find somewhere to use this color!

  2. Wow - fabulous article - can't wait to get my copy! Count me as another Redd fan - am loving those tufted blue chairs and the brown lacquered room - another wow. And I think he's cornered the market on mirrored bathrooms!

  9. As an Austraian subscriber to "Verandah", I adored the article on Miles Redd, Nov-Dec 2010, though very disappointed that the feature article did not reveal more of the kitchen that was eluded to on page 14 of the mag. How can I see pics of the kitchen please?
