I find at times that advertisements deserve to be acknowledged because of their extraordinary beauty. This beautiful room is an advertisement for Roche Bobois. ENJOY!
•1/2 sweet onion (such as Maui or Vidalia), thinly sliced
•4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, divided
Preparation
•Place 4 bread slices on work surface. Spread mustard on 1 side of each. Divide corned beef among bread slices. Top with cheese and onion. Cover with remaining 4 bread slices, pressing slightly to adhere.
•Melt 2 tablespoons butter in each of 2 large nonstick skillets over medium heat. Place 2 sandwiches in each skillet and cook until golden brown on bottom, pressing occasionally with spatula, about 3 minutes. If you follow my blog, you know that I adore the work of interior designer Jeffrey Bilhuber. Add architect Peter Pennoyer to the picture, and you have a powerful team!
The Italianate brownstone was built in 1874 and had been turned into a four unit dwelling after World War II. Pennoyer was asked to attempt a restoration on the five story home, but found that the townhouse had deteriorated and could not be restored to its original state.
The couple, parents of two children, wanted the home to have the appearance of the old home. The family art and furniture collection was extensive, and Bilhuber was asked to design the home around the pieces.
Mission accomplished! ENJOY!

Architect Carlos Aparicio took this two story duplex and created an expansive, light filled, single modern apartment on the seventy sixth and seventy seventh floors. After the extensive two year reconstruction, the new owners have a stunning home with magnificent views.
Owner of SoHo's Gallery BAC, Aparicio decorated the home with attention to the views, which greatly included the use of blue. The finished apartment is a showplace, perfect for the couple's frequent entertaining for charity. ENJOY!

When antique dealer Bernd Goeckler decided to move from his Greenwich Village home above his shop, he called on architect Francine Monaco and interior designer Carl D'Aquino.
Goeckler desired a less formal home with light and various styles of furnishings. The end result was a stunning home not far from his shop with plenty of light. ENJOY!

Jane and Billy Prichard's story is such a sweet one, with many hurdles in the beginning. The couple and their three children live in this lovely renovated home on Lookout Mountain in Tennessee.
The couple was married after dating for two months, and a teaching job fell through. With $6 a day coming in, the couple started a small accessories business. The rest is history! ENJOY!
