Words cannot describe this beautiful book.  You have to hold it in your hands and feel the cloth cover. The weight of the book is an indicator of what is to come.

Cabana Magazine is a bi-annual publication, founded and created by Martina Mondadori Sartogo.   Based in London, each issue is special and also dons a fabric cover.

There are 488 pages and three inserts filled with stunning interiors.  The book is composed of the first five years of the magazine issues.

I really can't properly describe this book, but I would love to have another to use as framed pieces.  You would need to see the inserts and contents to understand.

Do not leave this out of your library.  It is a must-have, friends. ENJOY!

After publishing thousands of images on my blog over the years, which included interiors, tablescapes, art, linens, landscapes, and architecture, I have seen the work of so many talented artists. I must say that the images in the stunning book, CAROLYNE ROEHM: DESIGN & STYLE: A Constant Thread, were not only breathtaking, but many were familiar. Many of the images I have shared were created by Carolyne.

Carolyne is multi talented, having created not just her famous tablescapes and interiors, but gardens, floral designs, linens, accessories, fragrances, books, paper, and beautiful couture. Her work is flawless, a description I rarely use. I could not put this book down, and I am certain that I will implement her elegant work into my own spaces.

Below are several of the many images in Carolyne's book. Click on the link below to purchase the book so that you too can pore over each page.

The extremely talented architect Jeffrey Dungan has written a beautiful design book. I have been following his exemplary work for quite some time, enjoying each storybook space, so I was thrilled to receive my copy!

There are 240 pages to pore over in this magnificent book, each one with something new and different to explore. Included are eight homes, ranging from a beach house on the Gulf Coast to a farmhouse in the Southern countryside.

The materials, texture, clean lines, and natural components are present in every creation. The extensive windows and large beams are my favorite details.

Below is just a small collection of images in this stunning book.  ENJOY!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Celebrated architect Jeffrey Dungan grew up on a small farm in Alabama. He has been honored with awards from the American Institute of Architects, as well as the 2017 Southeast Architect of the Year Award by Veranda magazine and ADAC. He was named a fellow in 2015 of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art and has won three coveted Shutze Awards from the ICAA. In 2018, Jeffrey was a recipient of a prestigious Palladio Award, the only national award for classical architecture. Dungan's work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Veranda, MILIEU, Southern Living, and House Beautiful.

When I was asked if I would like to review this beautiful book, I responded with a huge YES! Wow, am I glad I did! There are over 200 pages of beautiful art and stunning black and white and color images. Throughout the book, I dreamed of replicating one of these rooms over a five to ten year period.

Maureen Footer gives us a first-hand look at Christian Dior, along with Victor Grandpierre and George’s Geffroy in the book, DIOR AND HIS DECORATORS: Victor Grandpierre, Georges Geffroy, and the New Look. The interiors and couture presented are historic and breathtaking. Every image wreaks of opulence, taking us back to the fifties in the most wonderful way.
