For those of you that love New York, this is the book for you.  It is also a book for those loving design.  Few books have shown me this much beauty!

Buildings created by the best architects and interiors created by the most talented and sought after designers such as Henri Samuel, Robert Corturier, Piet Boon, Michael S. Smith, Natalie and Virginia Droulers, George Yabu and Glen Pushelberg, William Sofield, Thomas Jayne, Charles Pavarini, Joe Nahem,  Bunny Williams, Cullman and Kravis, Delphine Krakoff, Katie Ridder, and Tom Scheerer and others makes for a stunning book.  I would consider this a go-to guide for those wanting to make their world more beautiful. Absolutely stunning.

Judge for yourself from the few images I have shared below.  ENJOY!

When I was asked if I would like to review this beautiful book, the answer was by all means! I knew that every page would be not only different, but stunning.

I grew up in Montgomery, Alabama, where Bobby McAlpine was a household name. He helped make the city what it is today.  Just take a drive by the Shakespeare Festival, a theater that is dramatic and breathtaking.  The town has much of his work, be it business or homes. He created much of the history there.

Below are just a few of the images in this book, one of three masterpieces, which include his first book, The Home Within Us, and his second book,  Art of the House, written by Bobby McAlpine and Susan Ferrier.  I promise you much beauty here.
 ENJOY!

FABULOUS:

For many years I have followed and written about the work of Tom Britt. His eclectic style is a brave mix of chic, bazaar, and colorful. His use of layers of furnishings, lighting, candlelight, crystal, china, silver, linens, sculpture, art, textiles, and one of a kind pieces make for a smorgasbord of drama.

Britt's career as an interior designer spans 50 years, so choosing the images to share was a difficult task. This book is a must-have for those of us that design. ENJOY!
