Hello Sassy: All I want to do is set the table, especially for breakfast. Everybody rushes through breakfast, so a leisurely, beautiful breakfast table is something I did for years when the girls woke up from pajama parties--different jams in pots, fresh squeezed juice in pitchers, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage on Staffordshire platters. Setting a beautiful table is a way to tell your friends and family that they are loved. You invite friends to linger and have conversation. If the food is good and the table is lovely, people will linger and talk. I'm starting to believe decor is really about creating a space where people really communicate. Best, Liz
Yes I do love them and there are some real beauties here!! I love setting a gorgeous table, and sitting to enjoy it. Food is secondary at that point:) Love all the beautiful inspiration! Have a great Sunday Teresa!!
