ANNA FENDI VENTURINI ~ AT HOME IN HER 17TH CENTURY ROMAN VILLA

This over-the-top gorgeous home led me into a state of euphoria from the moment I laid eyes on it. The daughter of the founder of Fendi, Anna Venturini lives in this three story villa, surrounded by stone statues on a two-and-a-half acre lot.  The Venturinis brought in film costume designer Cesare Rovatti to help design the interior.

The art and Italian antiques in this home are spectacular to say the least.  From a bust of Julius Caesar to century old oil paintings, there is a presence of splendor throughout this beautiful home. The architecture is breathtaking, with thick stone walls and vaulted ceilings.

Settle yourself with a cup of tea or a glass of wine, maximize your screen, and ENJOY the beauty of this villa!

I am going to have to express my awe over the November issue of Architectural Digest. Seems the shakeup has been beneficial to those of us who devour these publications after waiting impatiently for them to arrive.  Please take my word for it, you need to get your copy now.
