Calm Before the Storm

Lydia, Angela, Alex

Well, while I was studying and writing papers, my precious daughter and her friends were caught lounging in the Samford Cafeteria.  Don't let that fool you though, because it is the calm before the storm.  They have exams and papers due also.  Good Luck Girls!

Now on to Embracing Etiquette With Teresa...

SHOPPING SHORT TAKES

Shopping Short Takes In Department Stores

If a salesperson is nowhere to be found, go to the nearest available register and politely ask where you might find one. If the cashier doesn’t know, you could go to the manager. If, at the other extreme, a salesperson latches onto you and hovers as you browse the merchandise, shake them as politely as possible. So that they won’t be concerned about losing a commission on a sale, just say, “Thanks, but I’s rather just look on my own right now. If I decide to buy something, I’ll find you before I take my things to the register.”

Tomorrow we cover Shopping Short Takes in Clothing Stores.

See you soon,
Teresa
